What exercises should my child be doing?
We hope you enjoyed last weeks' challenges!
It isn't just Ball Mastery exercises in Coerver Players Club. We also have passing, 1v1 moves, speed with the ball and juggling challenges which are great fun. You can practice all of these at home. Some of these exercises need two players, so your children can practice together or with a friend or you can practice with them. You should try to practice different things so that your children improve both their stronger and weaker skills to become well-rounded players.
Here is a simple Juggling exercise and one of our favourite Speed with the ball challenges.
Juggle with one bounce then kick the ball and catch. Then use alternate foot and so on.
How many catches can you do in 45 seconds?
Use the laces part of your boots.
Touch the ball through the inside of the cone, run around and take the ball to the next cone. Continue around the circuit. Try it in the opposite direction to work on your other foot.
How many circuits can you do 45 seconds?
Use the outside of your foot to pass through the cones.
